Artrocon (Artrocon)

Description

Artrocon is a veterinary drug for injection in the form of a 16% solution of chondroitin sulfate, aimed at the regeneration of articular cartilage in horses and other farm animals, as well as in dogs and cats. Contains chondroitin sulfate in the highest possible non-toxic concentration.

The drug has no analogues.

For intramuscular and subcutaneous administration.

Indications for use:
Non-infectious arthritis, arthrosis, osteoarthritis, periarthritis, osteoarthritis, spondyloarthrosis, ankylosing spondylitis, spondylosis, arthrosis of the hip joint (coxarthrosis), osteochondrosis, hydrarthrosis, tendinitis, tenonitis, synovitis, capsulitis, desmitis, chondropathy (osteochondropathy, third osteoarthritis), deforming bone phalanges, osteomyelitis with angular deformity, calcification of the intervertebral discs and other inflammatory, degenerative-dystrophic and post-traumatic lesions of the joints and spine; hip dysplasia in dogs and cats; syndrome of weakness of the wrist in dogs of large breeds, ptosis of the ears in dogs, chondrodystrophy in aesthetic otoplasty; fibrous osteodystrophy in cats; osteoarticular pathologies: cracks, fractures; acute and traumatic injuries of the ligament-tendon apparatus.

Packing: 1 x 25 ml ampoule.
Enough for one course of treatment of the animal.

Artrocon is not doping and does not contain substances prohibited by the rules of the Jockey Club and the FEI.

Dogs and cats:
The drug is administered intramuscularly or subcutaneously in the following doses, taking into account the weight of the animal:
Up to 10 kg – 1 ml, which is equivalent to 0.16 g of chondroitin sulfate.
From 10 to 30 kg – 2 ml, which is equivalent to 0.32 g of chondroitin sulfate.
Over 30 kg – 2.5 ml, which is equivalent to 0.4 g of chondroitin sulfate.
The average number of injections is up to 10 injections.

The dosage of the drug and the duration of the course of treatment is determined by the specialist individually, depending on the specific features of the course of the disease and its severity.

Horses:
The drug is administered intramuscularly at a dose of 1 ml per 100 kg of animal live weight with an interval of 1 to 4 days.
The average number of injections is up to 10 injections.

If necessary, the course can be repeated as directed by a veterinarian.

Recommendations:
Repeating a preventive or therapeutic course is carried out after 6 months, and in the presence of special indications with an interval of 3-4 months.

The drug can be administered according to the scheme of the drug Arflex with an interval of 4-7 days.

The drug can be prescribed as a starter drug, including for monotherapy, and as part of complex therapy with veterinary injectable drugs based on hyaluronic acid.

The drug is compatible with other drugs and supplements. As part of the complex treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system, the drug significantly increases the effectiveness of therapy.

The drug is recommended for sports horses and dogs of sports breeds during periods of intense physical exertion.

From the moment of taking the first dose, the drug should be stored in a refrigerator for up to 28 days.
